Took a walk close to home today. This is what it looks like in the fields all over Skåne (Scania) right now.
I took a lot of pictures, here are 5 of them. It was really windy so I was having a lot of problems getting anything Sharp.
I know what these plants are called in English, but I´m not going to write it. They are used to make Canola Oil (I think it´s called in English).
Brassica rapa oleifera is in full bloom here too. You’re right, they don’t smell – they stink 😉 The hills in the third one, are these burial mounds? I know you can find a lot of them where you live.

Uh, I don´t think they are burial mounds, on the other hand they could be, I just think of them as hills lol. I´ll have to find out. 🙂

I enjoyed looking at your photos, so pretty. Yes in English it is Canola Oil. Looks like a lovely place to take a walk.

I think I would enjoy walking down that dirt road in the first photo. Do the flowers have enough fragrance that you can smell them as you walk by?

No, they don´t really smell like anything, but there are other things like blooming apple trees and more, that smell beautiful so the air smells nice anyway. 🙂

Beautiful photos! I didn’t know that’s what that plant looks like (I don’t care much for it’s name, either).

Thank you! Yeah, what kind of name is that in English anyway, why would you call a plant something like that lol? 🙂

In case you haven’t figured it out yet, English never makes sense! Lol I’m so glad I was born into an English-speaking family, because I can’t imagine how horrible it would be to attempt to learn English as a second language! Congratulations to those of you who have!
