More from Nöbbelövs Mosse yesterday. The next few will be from there as well.
I think these kind of pigs are some kind of old breed that is close to wild boars, I don´t know for sure, but I do know that they aren´t pretty. At least I don´t think so.
Went to another part of town today, Nöbbelövs Mosse, near Gunnesbo. Took quite a few pictures, but I´m too tired to post more than one now.
Some cows. I took a lot of cow pics, because in this part of town there are no cows, just sheep and goats, and chickens and.. well, no cows. I like cows.
This is in a pond by the monument.
I´m usually pretty good at understanding symbolism and things like that, but this is beyond me.
I mean seriously, what the?
A baby screaming it´s head off because it´s sitting in the middle of a pond, on the back of a vomiting turtle?
This a walking tunnel, or whatever it´s called in English, for walking under highways or streets.
They are usually decorated by kids. This one led to the monument.
I was here yesterday as well. This is the site of one of the bloodiest battles ever, not only in Sweden, but in Europe. Thousands and thousands of Danes and Swedes completely slaughtered each other here.
War sucks, but if anyone is interested I found a thing about it in English on Wikipedia.
This monument was raised 200 years later, and the inscriptions on the sides are in some kind of weird olden Danish, but I can still understand it enough to translate it I think.
The first one says:
The 4th of December
Here fought and bled
People of the same tribe
Raised the memorial
The second one says, in some attempt at rhyme:
Here lie brave men
Whose bones and blood are blended
So that no one can say other
Than that they are of one family
They were of one faith
Still, with peace
They could not together live
Or something. This editor thing double spaces things when they aren´t supposed to be double spaced, but whatever.
I got lost today. Here are 5 pics of confusing greeness.
I just started walking and ended up on some path, then the path split, so I chose one, then it split again, and again, and so on, until I had no idea where I was. Everything was just green all over the place and looked kind of the same. I even ended up on top of a hill somehow and I don´t know how I got there.
I wandered around for over 3 hours until I finally found some place I recognized enough to find my way home.
I´m kind of broken now. Took pictures of other things not so green on the way, and will post them later, but this was pretty much what everything looked like today.
A crooked tree and some more of those unnamed plants.
Another thing on a wall at Skissernas Museum.
